Q: What is “QuikDate?”*Sign-up now if you're single and interested in meeting people for QuikDate events!
Quikdate is a revolutionary, unique new service that brings people together to meet. Come to one of our events and you’ll
enjoy 6 dates in 1 hour (as seen on “Sex and the City” and “Frasier”).Q: How does it work?
Prior to each event we will send you an email inviting you to attend. We hold our events at a nice local restaurant or coffee shop. We'll sit you down at a table with a member of the opposite sex for 8-10 minutes. Then you'll move to the next table to meet someone new, and so on. At the end of an hour, you'll have met at least 6 dates. If you meet anyone you would like to date again, fill out their name and circle "yes" on your QuikDate form. If they choose you also, we will exchange your contact information and you can contact each other to set up another date. It's a great way to meet a bunch of new people in a casual environment. It's fun, safe and "quik".Q: How long have you been operating?
QuikDate.com was founded in 2000. Seeking an alternative to the time consuming and often frustrating world of online personals and expensive dating services, QuikDate.com was created to help busy singles, like you, meet each other.Q: Where can I “QuikDate?”
QuikDate currently serves the greater Los Angeles areaQ: How often are your events?
QuikDate holds monthly events in various age groups.Q: What is your typical success rate?
Over 70% of QuikDate attendees make at least one match during an event. Many make multiple matches.Q: Why should I "QuikDate?"
QuikDate has a much higher success rate than any other service – and is far more effective (and fun) than any of those expensive dating agencies, matchmaking services, online personals, random blind dates or the bar scene.Q: What is the cost involved?
$20-30, depending on the event. Some events include free hors d’oeuvres, music, or a live band, etc.
There is no expensive "membership fee". You just pay for the events you'd like to attend.Q: Is QuikDate a matchmaking service?
No, QuikDate is not a matchmaking service and does not screen its attendees or members.Q: How would you describe your typical clientele?
QuikDate attracts a great group of singles – an attractive, friendly, outgoing, fun, smart, ambitious, and positive group.Q: Why do you only give 8-10 minutes with each person? Is that enough time to really get to know someone?
We feel this is enough time to get to know the basics about someone – what they do, where they live, what their interests are, and if there is any “spark”. If you like the person, you can always go on a "real" date. The time isn’t meant to be enough time to get to know everything about a person. It’s more of a “pre-date” or initial screening. After all, the key to successful dating is to meet a lot of people, right? And what better way than to meet 6 people in 1 hour?
Q: But a few minutes seems so short to ascertain if there is anything there…and it feels weird to me to be on a timer sort of feeling.
